The parish council is a volunteer leadership committee elected by parish membership at its annual parish meeting. In a spirit of mutual love and trust with the Rector and clergy, the parish council is responsible for stewardship of the parish’s resources and deliberating on other parish business.

Each Parish Council member acts as a liaison between the council and certain committees. Please ask the Vice President about the PC Liaison chart showing which parish council members have been assigned to represent each of the church’s ministries to the parish council.
Nominations for Parish Council are opened at the Annual General Assembly Meeting, and elections are held at this meeting each year to elect Parish Council officers.
The Parish Council meets on the third Saturday of each month. They oversee issues of strategic planning, finance and stewardship, facility maintenance, and approving and supporting ministry programs. Everything is accomplished with the goal of prayerfully helping the parish fulfill its mission.
